Webinar: 'Upscaling: different methodologies to scale up NBS and transfer them to other cities'
Date: 9:00-10:30 AM, Brasília Time (2:00-3:30 PM CEST), 18 June 2020
With this webinar, we will proceed to our last STEP 7 | UPSCALE of the integrated management approach of the UrbanByNature programme. We will be hearing from representatives of cities and experts on the topic of creative approaches for upscaling nature-based solutions. This step is essential for webinar participants to learn more about capturing local knowledge, supporting co-creative planning processes in regards to nature-based solutions and preparing the ground for upscaling. After this webinar of the Brazilian stream, all the 7 steps of the curriculum will have been covered, completing an NBS introductory webinar series (see playlists here). The journey has only begun with sensitizing the audience on NBS planning and design. UrbanByNature will continue to be active in Brazil, allowing for deeper NBS knowledge and deployment of tools.
The webinar will be moderated by Daniela Rizzi (ICLEI Europe) and Sophia Picarelli (ICLEI South America)
