Edible Cities Networking Sessions #2: Community, Value & Circular Economy (April 2022)

Edible Cities Networking Session

We're still buzzing from the success of the networking session at the Edible Cities Network conference, where there was the chance to talk to so many diverse representatives of the Edible Cities movement - from NGOs to city administrators, urban farmers and social entrepreneurs from around the world.

That's why we've organised a second session!

Join us on Thursday April 28th 13-14.00 (CEST) for round two, to continue our conversations and talk about the future of the edible city movement.

This online networking event will be held on the platform wonder.me, which allows participants to wander around the space and dip in and out of different discussions.

This time, we we will be offering spaces to talk about the following topics with experts from the EdiCitNet project:

  • Building and maintaining edible city communities (Moderator: Nevelina Pachova from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology)
  • Creating value through urban food initiatives (Alice Bischof from Wageningen University)
  • Circular economy: closing water and material loops (Quim Comas from the Catalan Institute for Water Research)

There will also be a fourth area set aside for open discussion.

We look forward to seeing you there!
